FRI 12/01/07

今天跟Clare老師約好幫我改研究計畫, 她先謝謝我夾在門縫下給她的聖誕卡片(因為她那時已放假了) 等她改好後 她說我英文進歨了, 我跟她說是我姊姊有先幫我改過. 不過我大姊也說進步了.

回家路上 把履歷送去Real Food後 開始沿路找理髮店, 結果這附近幾乎都是男士理髮(難怪只有5~7鎊) 只有一間女士的(週一~週四 學生折扣後12鎊) 因此 我決定自己剪 因為我不想等到星期一(頭髮已經沒型了) 也不想花12鎊.

本來今天不想去任何小組, 至少有兩週沒參加小組的我 還是決定去了 於是我去Charlotte Chapel, 等我到時已經遲到了. 感謝主 我看到一些熟面孔的弟兄姊妹 今天的分組 我像上次到June這組 我們討論的是詩篇42, 43討論 “活的主” 以及其他許多問題. 美好的夜晚.

我遇到了上週主日從新加坡來的夫婦. 結束後我們一夥人走在同條路上回家 當時我突然有種感動 雖然我們還不是很熟 來自不同地方, 卻讓我想起以前我在忠明時也是這樣. 這樣的感覺 跟今天讀的經節裡的大衛有點像- 老回憶著過去美好的記憶. 我倒更像出埃及的以色列人 我想我需要的是像大衛宣告神的全能.

Clare corrected my study agreement. First, she shows very appreciate my Christmas card. After the completion she said my English is getting better but I told her it’s because I asked my sister to correct it first. Wow, my eldest sister said the same thing tonight.

On the way home I hand in my CV and application form to “Real Food” then trying to find beauty shop to do hair cut for me but there is only one, Mon to Thu has student discount which is 12 GBP, and others are barber near the area I live. Therefore I think I can cut for myself, the reasons are I can’ t bear the present style anymore and I don’t want to spend the amount of money.

I originally decided not to go to group today but then I found I need to go because I have had at least 2 week have not involved in group. The time is near 8 pm. Thank you Father, I met many friends there and see some recognized faces and discussed Psalm 42, 43. It’s about ‘Living God’. What a lovely night.

I met the couple from Singapore who I met on Sunday evening service and what a good feeling that walking on the road from church to the way home, even though we came from different country, but it’s a good picture for me as what I did when I was in Chung Ming, Taiwan. It’s the memory like the verse of Psalm we read tonight- David asking God because he needs Him and he beard the past good memories in his mind… Sometimes I feel I am like the Israeli leaving form Egypt. What I need to do is like David declare the almighty God.
